LEGO Star Wars 2021 Advent Calendar Revealed [NEWS]

Today we got official images of the LEGO Star Wars 2021 Advent Calendar. The calendar is based on The Mandalorian, given the success of the show this year, and features Mandalorian builds exclusively.  The Mandalorian focus keeps this set in line with the rest of the Summer 2021 sets, which are also largely based on the TV show.

The Calendar will retail for €39.99 and contain 335 pieces and 5 minifigures (6 if you include IG-11). These minifigures are Festive Din Djarin, Festive Grogu, a Scout Trooper, a Tusken Raider, and a Stormtrooper. There is no confirmed release date as of yet, but we can expect it to release in September. This will be the 10th LEGO Star Wars advent calendar to date, since they began producing these in 2011

The set contains builds for the following:

  • Razor Crest
  • Riot Mar’s starfighter
  • A Snow blaster
  • Tusken Raider Weapon Rack
  • Imperial weapon rack
  • X-Wing
  • Mythrol’s Landspeeder
  • Training Taragets
  • Tusken Raider’s Snow Launcher
  • Imperial Troop Transport
  • TIE Fighter
  • Scout Trooper’s Speederbike
  • Imperial Light Cruiser
  • Slave 1 (Boba Fett’s Starship, I suppose)
  • IT-O Interrogator Droid
  • Mandalorian Weapon Rack
  • Grogu’s Hoverpram

I’m surprisingly interested in this set from what I see here. The Tusken Raider is a welcome second figure should you have bought the Trouble on Tattooine set in January. Similarly, the Scout Trooper would add to the single Scout Trooper from the Razor Crest set last year. You could even pair the Stormtrooper with the upcoming Imperial Armored Marauder set to bolster your figure collection. The Festive Din and Grogu figures would fit in well with past Festive Figures too.

I can already see ways to modify the Hoverpram to be non-festive using parts from the weapon rack builds too. If you can pick this up at a discount, it seems like a solid buy.
